Day of the Dead Altar Infographic
The celebration of the Day of the Dead is one of the most important in Mexico. That's why through an illustrated infographic, I wanted to explain the elements that compose a Day of the Dead altar, with which we pay tribute to our loved ones who are no longer with us.
These are some of the most important elements
1. Cut Paper: Traditional decoration representing the wind and clouds, as well as the fragility of life.
2. Bread of the Dead: Represents the cycle of life and death. The circular shape on top symbolizes the infinite cycle of life, and the decorations represent the bones of the deceased.
3. Marigold Flowers:Also known as "flower of the dead," it is believed that their aroma helps guide the spirit of the deceased to the altar.
